A few weeks of happiness – #20 – 22

A week of happiness, Journey true north

Well, it’s the end of a holiday Monday, and the softness of autumn is well in the air. Thanks to many things for a very nice few weeks. We are very grateful.

Thanks especially to a two part holiday. Camping in the trees:

Time at the beach:

And lots of time, to play:

Finding True North: a festival for the likeminded

Journey true north, Mindfulness

We are off on a break, sans digital devices and surrounded by trees. I can’t wait. At the same time, this weekend, a happy group of likeminded people are heading to Cockatoo Island in Sydney to enjoy a whole lot of yoga, meditation, music and mindful living at the Wanderlust Festival.

While this is new to me, it sounds like just my kind of event. It even reminds you to Find True North!

The good news is, Wanderlust festivals are held all over the world. So, if it’s your kind of event too, take a look see. And enjoy your week.

Wanderlust

[n] a strong or irresistible desire to
Travel • Practice Yoga • Listen to Music
Eat Well • Be Green • Appreciate Art
and create a community around mindful living

A week of happiness #16

A week of happiness, Journey true north

It’s a holiday Monday in Australia, which is worthy of thanks in itself.*

Thanks also to a burst of garden sunshine, followed by a burst of cool, cool beach rain:

And to a whole lot of colourful, creative adventures that helped fill up our summertime days:

To holidaying Australians, and those the world over, I hope you’ve also enjoyed a happy week.

Weeks of happiness – #12 and #13

A week of happiness, Journey true north

As the year started anew, we had time to bask in some simple moments of happiness – family, travel and a lovely cold swimming pool or two. Here are some of our small highlights.

New toys to bounce on.

Stunning gardens to explore.

I hope your change of year has been one with simple pleasures to savour. And the year to come offers much to enjoy.

Happy, happy 2015.
